Ravenscroft 275 Newbie... Help!
I set up RC on a laptop USB going to USB on my Yamaha CP. Then line out from the CP to an amp.
I have RC open but after many tries can't figure the next steps. Any idea where I can look? There doesn't appear to be a manual anywhere. Or am I missing something? I won't be recording or doing fancy things with RC. Just need a set of simple instructions.

Have you configured the Yamaha CP to be both MIDI and audio interface? Check the Yamaha manual.
It may be easier for OP to get advice if OP writes the exact model name of CP.
From reading online manuals, it seems some CP models only allow USB to transmit midi signals, in other words, audio signals cannot be transmitted through the USB port.
Even for CP models can transmit audio via USB, there seem to be conditions of use such as driver updates, USB cable versions, sampling frequency, and main unit settings.
(I am not familiar with music equipment or midi, so this post is like a bump.)
Are you running Ravenscroft 275 on a Laptop? If YES, what Operating System software?
We are iPad/iPhone users here but there are experts on all musical options that can weigh in.
I suspect you’ll get the Yamaha to send MIDI to the “laptop” and then need to determine where the RC 275
Audio is going. So, we need to understand the RC275 computer involved to help with the next bit of advice and
Who the right expert might be.
I did all the above configuring and yes the CP73 is an audio interface, and directs the user to use its USB port thereby utilizing one 1 cable. Then a line out to the amp. And I updated with the Steinberg USB driver. So no, it's not a hardware issue at the moment. I just don't know how to navigate Ravenscroft. No idea how to use it. Its not exactly intuitive or self-explanatory. So its a Ravenscroft question, only.
Laptop runs Win 10. And no, I didn't get send MIDI to laptop or any other message upon boot up.
@pmarc : are you aware that this is an iOS music forum? You might have more luck getting advice on a forum for Windows music making.
But Ravenscroft is functionally the same software regardless of host. But I'll try Music Making, thanx. No. That's a Mac forum.
The issue isn’t ravenscroft it is audio /midi routing which is platform-specific.

At the bottom of the page of this link, there is a bit of discussion about setting parameters for RC275 sound creation, etc. Perhaps OP can ask a question to a member of the community there.
(I found that place in my search, so I don't know what kind of forum it is. Sorry if this information is irrelevant to what OP wants to know).
espiegelqw23 if you've never used Ravenscroft, and never used an audio interface or studio software of any kind I guarantee you its about Ravenscroft. LOL!!
It works very well on an iPad or iPhone as a sound module.
"Windows 10"... just say "No".
Sorry. I felt your pain when I used to use my work Windows laptop for running music software and tried dual booting a Linux instance.
