Hotone Ampero Control Midi Footswitch

I just bought a new Hotone Ampero Control midi footswitch. I'm struggling to get it working in AUM on my iPad Mini. I have an IK Blueboard and a couple of Audiofront Midi Expression controllers, so I do have experience with this stuff. The Ampero Control pedal is connecting okay via bluetooth, and I can see that it is sending midi messages to the AUM channel controls. When I use midi learn in AUM, it successfully programs the correct CC number, but it just doesn't carry out the CC command ie no AUM channel bypass when I hit the Ampero footswitch? Does anyone have any experience with this device, and any suggestions to get it working?

If the pedal sends CC value 127 on press, 0 on release, you might need to configure it as a Toggle in AUM. That would make it one press for ON, second press for OFF.

Thanks; the Toggle setting seems to be missing after the latest AUM update; I presume it has been replaced by the Cycle parameter?

I had foolishly overlooked setting the Data 2 field in the Ampero Control app; that coupled with the Cycle setting in AUM solved the problem.

Got it working but I've decided to return it as I can't live with the midi send on release footswitch action. Not good when triggering midi notes or using looping apps.
