Loopy Pro not recording right iPhone SE 2
So I'm trying Loopy Pro, did a test project, and I pressed record, performed a quick thing, and ended the recording.
Only to check out my recording, it saying 0kb, and LP crashing when I tap to play the recording.
Is this a bug? Am I doing something wrong? iPhone SE 2, 256gb, iOS 15.4.
I'm going to test recording on my iPad Mini 5th gen next.

The record button is for recording a the a sequence of clip playbacks either to the timeline or to audio. It's not for recording audio to loops. If you didn't have any clips recorded, then nothing would be rendered to audio.
Tap a loop to record to it. You can then play back the loop, export it's audio, etc.
Same issue on my 5th gen iPad Mini, 256gb, iOS (iPadOS) 15.4.
I did this already, I'm trying to recording my performance to audio, and it isn't working for me.
This video should explain it better.

And yeah the recorded loops are stupid, lol. This was just a test project.
Did you make any changes in the Session Recording configuration? I'm using the defaults (Record Audio, Combined Input/Output, Lossless Recording OFF, and it's working fine here.
No I didn't make any of those changes.
I wonder if @Michael can view the above-linked video and shed some light on this.
There isn't enough in the video to know. Please try rebooting your device. If somehow things got into a funny state rebooting may fix it.
After rebooting, make a screen recording and start it before you do the session or audio record. Tap on record to set up the recording and show the configuration popup.
Before starting the actual record, show your mixer page and go back to the loop page and start recording. End the recording. Take a screen shot also of the contents of the recording folder.
I figured it out! @Michael LP doesn't record at all when my bluetooth headphones are connected and "combined input/output" is selected. Once it's "combined output" only, then it records fine with my bluetooth headphones connected. 😂 Thank goodness I figured this out.
That’s an interesting one @jwmmakerofmusic ! I think it might be related to the fact that Bluetooth has an incredibly high latency, and I haven’t factored that in for the latency compensation that the combined input and output recording facility performs. I’ll fix that! Sorry that that happened to you in your first foray! And fantastic work figuring out the solution! Thank you for that.
That's okay mate. Didn't sour my first impression any since I know you and the beta team work absolutely hard! 🙂 I was simply perplexed.
Of course mate. Thank you. I swear don't know how I did it when my mind is scattered and abstract half the time. 😂
