Midi Learn in Tone Stack
Anyone have luck toggling effects on/off with the midi learn function? Can it be done with a note on command?
Comments
Can't you use the wet/dry controllers or equivalent with MIDI learn?
Everything should be controllable, according to Yonac. I turned on midi learn, selected the on/off of the fuzz face, pressed the midi footswitch and viola... nothing happened.
Haven't tried it but there lots of apps that will not respond to note events for control. Try a cc?
I can't get it to map a note on/off event, only cc's.
My foot controller can only do notes and PC's. I guess I could run it through midibridge or some such? But has anyone been able to get CC's to work?
My guess is it's CC only. I believe Magellan was the same. Midibridge will certainly do what you want.
For apps that actually respond to notes or program changes... you can see the problem!
So, to change PCs to CCs in midibridge, I would use the Stream Byter?
Yep that's right. Check out this link for a rundown. If you need more help you can ask specific questions on Audeonic's forum.
