Ruismaker's original idea was actually hardware, I love this story:

"I have a fully functional kick-ass drum machine prototype sitting on my desk, picking its raspberry-flavored nose."

I zoomed in on an icon on Bietfriek's profile page and looked at its heart.

Well it’s a dated picture but still there and stays there. In my previous post I forgot to mention the touch keys, they react to humidity/moisture and the hold control. Again if you like it and got the money: take both.

  • First, I bought this app many months ago and it's a really fun app, I really like it. This app is unique. Bram hits a homerun with this app, congrats.

Instead of buying a new iOS synth that is almost identical to your 54 others synths, if you do not have Mononoke, you should go grab it.

I now want to challenge myself and try to replicate this app in Drambo just to learn more about synth. Where should I start?

I will need 8 oscillators if I understand correctly?

When I play with Mononoke I feel like a kid. It's magic how it sounds. I cannot believe how smooth this sounds.

Oh and try Mononoke with an app made in Montreal that will pimp your sound: Objeq.

  • Having just purchased mononoke it makes me wonder if anyone else has thought that that the controls for the left side keys should be on the right hand side? And the controls for the right keys on the left? This way I can play with my left and twiddle knobs with my right. And vice versa. Great app but it could be a great option to flip the controls to give the user that choice. Just a thought.
