    Flappy bird

    WOW Filterbox versus Volcano 2

...I like the interface of WOW better plus the fact that I already own it

  • A wrap-up of the best apps today in a few categories.

  • I'd like to see BM2 explored.

  • MultitrackStudio

  • SynthX - a video from you would maybe give it boost in sales and that would motivate them to update to AB or IAA or both

    Ricepad - same reason

Werkbench - just because it's such a cool app

    MultitrackStudio

Please. Put together a simple cover song that we all know so we can see how it happens (knowing the end). The whole thing so we can see how undo and punching and real life happens.

I like @firejan82's thinking re:ricepad. There is an awful lot of interesting in that app.

  • Also ToneStack. A comparison to JamUp would be cool.

  • @joegrant413

    I second that (e)motion!

  • Lots of good suggestions here, I'll see if Ricepad still works with iOS7 and SynthX. Tonestack I did recently and I dont do comparison videos, Workbench is on the list is BM2 and MultiTrack DAW, I did Wow a while back, check the channel, but I will do Volcano2

  • iMPC Pro when it comes out; and UVI BeatHawk, if it ever comes out; unless you can get a hold of a pre-release copy? It would be interesting to compare the two apps.

  • I would like to see your take on Ricepad, but maybe hard to focus too much on it if it's abandonware at this point. Or not.

  • I reckon Jasuto is worth a go Doug. Plenty of people must have picked it up at the ridiculously low sale price and there are hardly any videos available.

  • Jasuto is a good one.

No, not Multitrack DAW, MultitrackStudio: http://appshopper.com/music/multitrackstudio-for-ipad

    Thanks.

  • Yes. Jasuto. Double yes. @thinds is spot on. At this juncture I imagine a video would be the equivalent of filming Ulysses in 15 minutes, but I would love to see you slay it.

  • Doug did a video of MTS when it came out

Although the app has been upgraded a lot since then.

  • Ah, right. Thanks @thinds.

  • I'll definitely di iMPC Pro and Beathawk if it ever comes out

  • Whatever but...Synergy Studio or iSequence HD.

  • I think we need an ongoing, ever-updating Auteur Doug list....

  • Hi doug,I'd like to see stroke machine as theirs very little info on it.

  • Yep +1 for Stroke Machine.

He does have a YouTube channel if anyone is unaware.

    http://www.youtube.com/user/thesoundtestroom/videos

You should promote this, Doug. Maybe put it in a signature when you post a new video.

  • Yes indeed he does. It was the Doug Channel (All Doug All The Time) which led me to this fine den of ill-repute in the first place, not that I ever thought to thank him....

I was meaning more an ongoing chalkboard of apps we'd like to see him give his inimitable treatment to....

Hahahahahah haha hahahahaha ahaha ah ahaha!

Sorry. Not laughing at ya. More like laughing from happiness of how strange it is to hear this question which is a proof of how sweet and cosy this forum can feel. Doug is the guy otherwise known as @thesoundtestroom and does reviews of ios apps. Check out his YT (not midi) channel. Very useful stuff.

GrainBender -just updated with AB2 and state saving. I like it for that one realy cool and unique automation thing it does and the fact that you can do that thing to other synths - as long as they have MIDI learn.EDIT.-maybe just MIDI, MIDI learn just makes it easier to program I think....
