I got many T-RackS 5 plugins for free during one of their prior sales already, so I just need to fill out a selection of the rest... maybe some of those TEAC and Tascam tape machine emulations would be worth the $99.00 cost of entry.

Something to consider when viewing these traditional plugins and emulations: It's looking like several new competitors are now using artificial intelligence/machine learning in their mixing and mastering tools and I have a feeling all of these specialized plugins and nitpicky tools are going to be essentially obsolete in the next 2-5 years. Soon you'll simply be able to throw your tracks together and then be able to balance them against each other in a mix in a very intuitive way, versus spending days on end trying to find the sweet spot for everything in your mix.

Just look at what a really smart plugin like "Tonebridge" has done for the guitar amp and effects plugins. It's a no-brainer if you have a particular sound you want and you simply apply it. Now imagine being able to throw all of your tracks at a plugin (or DAW) and having it compare your elements to tens of thousands of other mixes and making "intelligent" recommendations, just like an engineer who might cost you a pile of money in a studio. Anything that can be digitized can be analyzed and automated.
