Apple camera adapter or hub which is faulty?
Until recently my hub (a 5 port usb 3 RSHTECH hub) was working perfectly with my Apple connection adapter. The port supplied power to a number of usb sticks, and external hard drive and to my Akai APC 40 mk2. Then for no apparent reason the hub will now only charge the ipad. Usb sticks and external hard drive do not appear as selectable drives. The APC receives some voltage enough to show lit encoders but not enough to show changes to the main buttons when using Loopy Pro. I have written to the usb hub manufacturer who kindly posted a new hub, however nothing changed, no usbs shown and Akai not working properly. Is it Apples camera kit at fault? The dongle is used flat without strain. Strange?
Any help would be wonderful.
Thanks

When they sent the new hub did they also send a new power supply? My first guess is the power supply is going out, or the cable from the power supply to the hub.
Thanks for your reply. Yes new transformer/power supply sent with the hub along with new cables etc.
My only other guesses are doing a hard reboot of the iPad, and experimenting with the order that you plug things in. Sorry, this sounds like one of those where you just have to keep changing one thing at a time until you eventually "eliminate what it's not".
Yes tried a hard reboot and altered things plugged in also tried other cables without any success.
It baffles me.
