Great vid Doug!
Grabbed the AI desktop version a couple of weeks ago and it's simply amazing.
Have a great summer Doug!
Thank you for the video Doug!Although I found Alchemy too "crystal" sounding for my taste. Just an off-topic question: do you still use the ION? I had the micron years ago but switched to vst synths ,gave it up, and now using the ipad. I remember it had unique sound engine...
Thanks for the vid, I have AI myself & love it, $5 well spent IMO.

Yeah I still use the ION, I was lucky to pick it up for £300, its like it was brand new, still boxed, manual, in pristine condition, probably one the best VA Synths ever made
Yes, this pack rips you a new asshole. I like Dual Saw a lot.
I must say. Using a full-size external MIDI keyboard controller makes a big difference in auditioning a new iOS synth. After purchasing and downloading a new iOS synth or expansion pack, I usually audition the new sounds using the onscreen iPad keyboard; hunting and pecking away, trying make musical sense. It is difficult to demonstrate the quality and musicality of each new sound with just the iPad's touch screen. Some patches do work good and are made to be expressive with multi-touch, however.
Doug, your demo shows that when you use the pitch bend or physical modulation wheel; or when you use the x/y pad controller on the iPad for effects; or when you play a riff, or do a physical run on the full-size keys, it really makes a difference to judge the quality of sounds and their potential for making music. Do all your sound auditioning videos the same way, if possible.
Thanks again Doug for such a good demo.
