Dolby Atmos

Is there anything like Dolby Atmos mixing and
the Cubase Multiband Phase imaging feature on the iOS platform?
The latter can show phasing errors over the entire frequency spectrum.

If Drambo's oscilloscope had separate X and Y inputs, MB phase imaging would be rather easy to build.
miRack has an XY scope though as far as I remember.

As for Atmos, I could imagine a multi-channel setup with free placement of audio samples but the challenge might be to control the motion across different channels. An XY pad for conventional placement and a slider for elevation could be a simple start.

Have you already mounted a few speakers on your room's ceiling and connected them to your multichannel audio interface? ;)

That would be really cool and maybe in the future a lissajous display.

The display was more like a spectrogram display rather than a oscilloscope display.
The other interesting it did was display the “errors” in phasing underneath the x axis in red.

    That’s a good idea.
    I like it a lot.

    I haven’t as yet.
I have some old school satellite speakers in corner someplace.
I have enough to do 5:1.
For the sake of accuracy my music room at home is far from ideal
but I could create guide automation and translate it across further on.
Okay. That’s my summer gone. ;)

  • Learned a new word and concept, lissajous. Thanks @Gravitas
