Making a Movie Soundtrack with iOS Synths (and Ableton Live)
Hi all,
Been having some fun today putting music and sound FX to Georges Méliès' "A Trip to the Moon/Le Voyage dans la lune" (1902).
Syncing and recording was done in Ableton Live 8, but all sounds were generated using the following iOS synths and apps on my iPad Air (connected with simple stereo cable to Ableton's line-in):
* Nanologue
* BeatMaker 2
* ThumbJam
* DrumJam
* Sunrizer

Apparently, that was the full, renovated version, in colour! Fascinating how differences in music or sound can give the same scene a totally different feeling :-)
