Auria pro Earth wind and Fire Remake
Without new ideas for a new original song, I tried to cover an old EWF Songthat I´m still diggin on since the seventies. Just to practise recording. mixing. Midi drumtrack was exported from Funkdrummer into Auria, Sounds are custom Sounds in My Yamaha Montage. 1 percussionloop i made in african drummer and another in groovebox which can also be exported into Auria. Hope you like it.

That’s a pretty cool cover thanks for sharing.
Thanks for listening!
Excellent! 😃
Looking at your song choice, I bet you're into Incognito as well? And Steely Dan maybe? 😉
@rs2000 yes, I played a lot of incognito songs live. and I love steely dan and the donald fagen albums.
It's great, well produced and well performed. 👍
Thank you. Appreciatet!
Nice!
Covering favorite songs is so educational and fun.
@NeuM yes educational. When to put a 16th before the one. How much swing and so on…..
Getting swing right using any kind of automation is a real problem with most DAWs. Are you aware of any human feel quantizing tools?
No I‘m not aware.
I play . Then i lookwhat the grid says. Then i optimize/ quantize by hand.
Funky! Good job.
@israelite thank you!
@Franketti
Sounds really good all round.
The low end seems a little bit quiet in my headphones
but that's personally choice considering I'm a bass junkie.
Excellent musicianship.
Really good to hear.
Thank you for sharing.
@gravitas. Yes, low end has got a bit quiet. It is always difficult for me. I have to mix with headphones…..
