Which MIDI app to use? Loopy Pro pad widgets to trigger chords
There seem to be a ton of different ways to set this up, but I'm looking for recommendations. The goal is to use one page in Loopy Pro for chord performance by way of tapping on pads without having to jump into an audio unit.
Looks like ChordPolyPad can accept a single midi message note to trigger a pad; in that case I guess all you'd need to do is set up your chords in the app and then apply a midi note per chord in Loopy. I've had some issues with ChordPolyPad not letting me access the "note per chord" settings so I'm not sure if that's the best route.
Is Scaler 2 something that would be good for this? What other apps are people using for this? Can't imagine I'm the only one trying to get a good setup for this type of workflow.

Tonality has a chordpad AUv3 bundled with it. No sounds in the AUv3. So you send the output to a synth or sampler. The pads can be mapped to midi...and you can set it up to advance through the chords using AU parameters (which can be sent from Loopy's widgets).
