Recall - GB IOS - first tracking using Scaler
Hope this ok to post here.
I'm reasonably ancient with my Synth interest going back to Denmark Place and trying out the brand new D50, K1 and M1. Fast forward 30 odd years and I still hadn't created anything of worth. Just couldn't find a recording package which catered for my lack of music theory/practice and didn't want to use loops .
During the first lockdown, rediscovered GB on IOS and started learning/creating tracks and releasing them on YT and Spotify. I've now hit 70 tracks, and tried to put something new I've learnt into each track.
So 2 years later, this is my first track using some chord inspiration (and Felt Piano) from Scaler. It's a bit slow moving at the beginning (a bit Hans Z even..), but evolves.
Hope you like it

Most definitely. I am also reasonably ancient! I liked this very much. It's very cinematic and develops nicely. It also sounds like you spent some time thinking about it and planning the arrangement. I hope you decide to post more.
Very peaceful and serene musical composition.
I love this recording.
Very melodic and truly relaxing.
Thank you for this post.

Thank you all for your kind comments. Much appreciated.
Enjoyed it…also nice variety of plugin use…I wouldn’t have expected some of those based on the sound
thank you. I try to limit the number of plugins I use but it's amazing how moreish it is buying AUV3 synths, especially when they are at silly prices !. The problem I know I have is going back to my "known" sounds, but I do try and introduce something new to each track.
Very cinematic - I like it!
Very nice! It felt like going on a journey, leaving the village you grew up.
thanks again all,it really make a difference to get feedback.
More than Ok to post… You call tell that you put a lot of work into that. It almost felt a bit Tubular Bells (to me) at one stage which must be a good thing!
Really beautiful track @matdun25848834 Thanks for posting such an inspiring and complete vision to the forum. Tracks like this remind me why I love making music on the iPad.
Welcome to the AudioBus Crüe!! Hope to hear more of your great work. I got Clockwork Orange vibes from this piece for some reason...definitely has that moving through space and time and scenarios in my mind.
Great track. I agree with the “Clockwork Orange “ vibe. It would certainly not sound out of place in that soundtrack or most other films of that era and genre. Nice variety of apps used too!
thank you,, yes Mike Oldfield has been a big musical influence on me. I use his "bagpipe" guitar and flute type of sound on
a fair few tracks. This is one of my favourites I did last year - well the wife likes this one ! The last 30 seconds of the track for me is very Oldfield - hopefully
thanks again all for the very kind and most welcome feedback. Inspires me to keep creating
