SCALER 2 - iOS Tutorial - How To Set Up Pattern Chaining (Song Mode) & Copy/Paste Patterns
This answers a couple of questions that people asked.
In the video I show you how you can chain patterns together, for example you have 2 or more patterns, you want to hit play and have Scaler cycle through all those patterns on their own.
And also how to copy and paste patterns, this is useful and can save you a lot of time.

That is where it’s at. Go to sequencer tab and you can set each chord to play a different pattern, and at individual lengths
Great tutorial on this.
@CapnWillie I really hope it does help.
My tip would be to set up all your patterns and timings in the first Scaler before adding more Scalers in.
It can become confusing and a bit chaotic trying to add more patterns or changing the length of patterns when you have more than one on the go.
Everything else, of course, like sounds, perform modes etc, are best done afterwards.
Thanks, would have never figured out the ‘select patterns’ to play them in sequence… Thanks..
@RajahP
When on the pads page with all your patterns showing
You can also select all the patterns to play with a vertical slide up gesture, same way as on the main page but vertical
Really loving this app
Was money well spent
I find my self setting up 4 lanes in AUM, 4 scalers and syncing once I get a good pattern,
Then on with the drums
Super quick
