Focusrite iTrack Dock Mic input issues

Hello!

I recently purchased a Focusrite iTrack dock and I am having issues getting the mic input working in audiobus. I can use various apps by themselves and the mic works fine but when I try to set the input on an Audiobus chain to the system output I get nothing. Audiobus is detecting the dock because I have option to select from the 2 input channels on the Audiobus input select but neither seem to do anything. I have also tried routing the output into a recording app and I am still not getting anything passing through. I've tried closing all apps, rebooting, opening Audiobus first, and adjusting latency and nothing seems to fi it. Please help! Thanks

  • I made a video tutorial for this not long ago, have a watch and see if you are missing something and let me know, if you are still having problems let me know and I'll see if I can recreate your set up on my iTrack Dock

  • Hey thanks for the reply. I actually found your video on youtube before posting. Unfortunately I am trying to use the "system input" as the audiobus input and thats where I am running into issues. I can use Bias or Amplitube as the input source and guitar works perfectly fine plugged in through the itrack dock. I believe the issue lies with the way the raw system input is conifgured. Perhaps it is a setting on the iPad itself? Denying audio access to the mic? I will mess around more with it but any help is greatly appreciated!

  • Hmm, that is exactly what it was. Somehow audiobus had the mic turned off in the ipads privacy settings. I apologize, I should have done more troubleshooting beforehand. Thanks again for your help!

  • No worries, really pleased you sorted it out
