Not all christian’s are bad and we have a lot of christian bias in this country for sure . But can’t you separate the fake ass people from the genuine ? I stand with Jewish people and anyone that’s a true victim of racism and don’t like treating people bad or people being treated unfairly . things are definitely more progressive in the US but shouldn’t you be nicer to people you disagree with ? White Christian’s have feelings too and can be hurt by such statements ,isn’t the Left more of the KKK ? from a historical standpoint ? @Michael i’m not so sure anymore that we need to get people to find common ground. The Republican extremists, with their fondness for projection, characterize it all as a battle of good against evil. It is, IMO, really a battle of evil against the lesser of two evils.

At this point I only believe that it is necessary for folks to be informed. ABF is my sole social media go to. I care for the people here and I feel a proclivity to share and learn from it’s member community. Characters like NeuM throw a terrible monkey wrench into that functionality by making it all about themselves and screw any kind of honest interplay or responsibility.

The course, IMO, of democracy here depends mightily on the November elections. Throwing the worst offenders out of office will not solve the problem, but if that, at least, does not happen, it will signal, as one notable historian, Michael Beschloss, put it, the end of fair elections in the US. That much seems clear.

As far as the opinion of members like @BiancaNeve and others to eliminate any “important” discussion here, I fail to understand why they cannot just ignore off topic discussions like these. So far this forum has been acknowledged by many as a very reasonable place to have discourse compared to other platforms. I believe that’s
