Beyond the Pale

with all due respect I can appreciate that some
things are said in the heat of the moment
somethings though cross the line.

Personally speaking.

I do not comment on threads to push them to the top.
I comment because maybe I could be of assistance.
It's voluntary.
No one is paying me to do this.
So when someone drags a company's name into political discourse
where it has no right to be in I think that's uncalled for
regardless of which iOS company's name is being used.
I also think ,even if it were said in jest, being branded
something one is not is beyond the pale.

  • Hi Ish, I totally understand and greatly apologize for remarks I made and were not intended to cause any hurt. I was just trying to make a point and got carried away. It’s the dramatist in me. I appreciate your giving me a place to apologize to @giku_beepstreet It was in no ways serious and I absolutely intended no harm. I have altered my remarks and seeing the upset will now delete it. I thought everyone would understand the hyperbolic ridiculousness of what I was saying. But I was very wrong in thinking that and I can see how folks might have misunderstood my intention., especially if they don’t know my sometimes extreme sense of humor. It was indeed a mistake and I feel very badly about it. Again, my apologies to everyone, especially @giku_beepstreet (and I certainly don’t hate Drambo! I just could never understand it. And I certainly love the synths.)

I hope you have a better understanding of my intentions. Thanks, Mike
