god plays the piano

Not sure if the devil isn’t accompanying, however. Took some of the mystery away. Then again, is it a deep fake? Not one note out of place.

This is the real thing… still pretty darn good. What do you think?

  • So stinkin cute! I wonder if Lise kept pursuing piano as her career now that she's 12-13.

And the first one is so stinkin' fake. Just watch the keys vs what you hear 😅

2nd one - I see she is exploring the sprechtgesang tradition. Clearly in the spirit of Lotte Lenya.

  • @rs2000. Agreed, but it took a lot of very good work to make such a plausible rendition. I was looking mostly at the finger movements. He synced that excellently.
The second version is interesting because she’s supposed to be eight months older and looks younger. Her singing was delightful and way beyond her age, I thought. The piano playing was more age appropriate with the exception of the scarcity of notes, the “word” choices and the beautiful dynamics.it showed a lot of talent, I thought.

Indeed. He nailed the rhythm well and added a few off notes to make it sound more "authentic" 😉
