Human Material
FRMS, Steel Guitar Pro, Tera Pro, Fundamentalorigins, and Kq-Dixie. Some Eventide Reverbs and K7D, built around a loop recorded to Gauss and slowed down
This was the best out of more live recording attempts than I’d care to say. A bit nerve-racking to have too much going on at once on an older iPad but got it done in AUM. At least for now ready to move on to something new…
Thank you

@barabajagal, @lasselu, @gusgranite, @amethystswitch, @jwmmakerofmusic, @ReneAsologuitar, I appreciate you guys and the supportive feedback. Thanks for listening. Someday I need to go back and cut this one down and also get rid of the pointless, directionless pseudo-sax solo. I am convinced, and this vexes me, but it is very nice to get some confirmation that at least maybe some of it is salvageable.
@gusgranite, thank you, I could def benefit from studying your mastering/mixing tips.
@ReneAsologuitar, glad you found this peaceful. Thank you!
@jwmmakerofmusic, I literally cannot keep up with the multiple, daily, outside-the-box, extra-terrestrial experiments you are producing, but when I get around to listening and reading your posts, I almost always get fresh insight and learn some valuable, new knowledge, along with enjoying the fruits of your singular creativity. Thank you very much. I look forward to listening more soon..
That means so much to me mate. 🙂💕 Well, I did fuck up royally with today's experiment believe it or not. I think I went mad with Korvpressor on each track, and it turned the overall audio into muddy shite. If mud was what I wanted, goal achieved lol.
So tomorrow I will reattempt the project. 😅 I scrapped the project itself, but I have all of my audio files safely tucked away in the project folder. Half the battle with Ambient is selecting and/or making and/or recording the right audio sources.
The reason I'm sharing this with you here is...if at first you don't succeed, try try again. Old saying, but it still rings true. A different kind of insight you probably weren't expecting today, but I'm nothing if not a stubborn tosser. 😂 Today was a setback, but not a failure. You only fail when you give up, and though I decided to give it a rest for tonight, tomorrow I get right back into it!
Lovely track @myapologies . I’m not adverse to a bit of directionless pseudo-sax myself but not sure I would have recognised it as such unless you told me. Sounded more like a Clavioline as used on Telstar by the Tornados or, even better, Grave New World by the Strawbs!
@jwmmakerofmusic, thanks for your timely advice and positive outlook
@geotony, Will try to check those out. Never heard of the Clavioline either. Thanks!
Of course mate. It pays to be stubborn. However, sometimes if at first you don't succeed, wait until the next day and try again with a fresh mind and set of ears.
