I haven’t heard this song for a long time. brought back a lot of good memories of the time. from one hear to another, many thanks.
I always loved the incongruously soft side of Alice. (e.g. Only Women Bleed). This, too, is a beautiful song, in a beautiful rendition. Thank you.
Hi willg,
I love the 70s music, and this one's a memorable one for me as well.
Thanks for the wonderful feedback.
Respectfully,
Rene
Hi Svetlovska,
Thank you for your beautiful words, I love 'em!!!
Truly a soft and lovely side of Alice, a personal fav.
Warm regards,

Nice job, Rene!
I was a young teen when the Alice Cooper Goes To Hell album was released. I placed it on my Christmas wish list that year and was amazed when my parents actually got it for me. All my friends were very impressed!
Haven't heard this song in years, but god that really got to me. 🥲 Another amazing heartfelt performance from you mate. You're truly the best thing to happen to this forum in recent times, and I'm so thankful you're here to share your soul with us. Bless.
I had never heard this song until now. Alice Cooper is one of those artists who I have listened to over the years but never looked deep into his catalogue. A great song for your playing and singing style and very good performance as well. Now I’ll have to give Mr. Cooper’s rendition a listen as well. Thank you for sharing!
Hi SNystrom,
We might be of the same age, as I was also in my mid-teens when this album was released.
I will be impressed, as well, if you had the album at that time.
Love your story, bet you won't forget that Christmas gift.
Thanks.
Rene

Been into electronic music for most of my life but I have the utmost respect for other music genres and talented artists. Well done!

Another powerful performance and another “new” one for me. It is fun that you are keeping us guessing from Psalms to Alice Cooper. I wonder what’s next. Thanks for the musical education and the lovely music.
Hi DMfan,
I am so happy to hear from you, and your great comments.
You are so kind, and I really appreciate you!!!

Hi myapologies,
"Psalms to Alice Cooper" - I like this phrase.
I am glad I was able to deliver this classic to your musical ear!!!
Even me, do n to know what's next.
I am hoping I can sit down, and gets inspired to do another original composition.
Thank you for your inspiring comments.

Thanks for a beautiful cover of a sweet Alice song.
I saw him perform this in Adelaide in 1977 on the Welcome to my Nightmare tour. This was his first tour of Australia and it was a huge event ..especially seeing we had waited so long as the tour had been banned in 1975.
The immigration minister stated
“I am not going to allow a degenerate who could powerfully influence the young and weak-minded to enter ‘this country and stage this sort of exhibition here,”
We may have been young but we sure werent weak minded. It was one of the great concert tours that rolled thru Oz in the 70s and the audiences lapped it up …
Hi Jes,
Thank you for the excellent AC story from Oz!!!
"Weak-minded" - the young have the strongest mind there is!
Young, carefree and explorative, but definitely strong-minded!!!
1977 was a very good year for me as well!
Much appreciation to you, Jes!!!
Rene
Now I wanna hear that rubab you got back there.
Alice Cooper was discovered and signed to Frank Zappa’s Straight Records label. I suspect it saved the label with Alice’s mix of shock/horror rock and these ballads and some kick ass rock and roll like “Schools Out”.
Never heard the song before but you have such a great voice and imbue it with such feeling it definitely worked for me 👍

I got this in Afghanistan, I fell in love the first time I laid eyes, and glad I bought it.
