OK sorry I looked cant find Drambo question in Cubasis
Hello all,
Slowly getting back in to the swing of things. I have a question that might turn into more…. I am sorry I looked but cant find it.
If I have an instance of drambo in Cubasis. As per screen shot I am using a flexi sampler called dr flex. How can I have it trigger from Cubasis at only certain times…. Like bar 8, bar 16 etc… and have it start and stop? Can I create a midi lane in Cubasis and have a certain note trigger the start and stop???
Sorry I am just not familiar with Drambo……..

"Can I create a midi lane in Cubasis and have a certain note trigger the start and stop???"
You could midi map a note coming from Cubasis to a Clip or Clips
in dRambo telling the Clip to start/stop.
The other way could be to create a bypass switch
using a midi note in from Cubasis into dRambo.
There are a few other techniques I'm sure.
@Gravitas hmmmm. Can you point me to how to do that???? Sorry.
What happens when you play the Cubasis keyboard?
If it plays the sound as long as you hold down a key then sequence those notes in Cubasis.
@Samu … every key plays. I want to trigger the transport of drambo with a midi note or trigger the start stopping of a clip in drambo.. sorry.
Then you'd have to use midi-learn in Drambo and assign midi-notes using the Cubasis keyboard to each of the clips you want to trigger remotely and sequence the clip-triggering with Cubasis.
If I'm not mistaken Drambo follows the host-clock so when you start playback in the host Drambo follows...
Personally I would do the Drambo stuff inside Drambo and let it follow the host-clock to keep things simple.
Cheers!
You'll also probably want to disconnect the MIDI input to that track or to the Dr-Flex instrument rack if you're using notes to trigger patterns. That way the notes won't trigger the sampler.
OK…. So im telling ya. Coming out of a deep depression you forget things. @rs2000 made a clip launcher for me a while ago for AUM. It works in Cubasis… now I just need to get the Dr-Flex and multi out going and……. Baby Im going to be a star. Woooooooo. 😁
Thanks all!!!!!
