  • Much like the ride it’s named after, this one is exhilarating. Fast paced and fun! It’s really cool to hear how you incorporate Riffler into your music. I’m unabashedly a huge fan of the app and I love hearing how people use it.

  • I'm having trouble walking in a straight line after listening.

I love the disco baseline in the B sections.

Riffler is pretty magical for "metal guitar madness" in an app. No practicing required.

  • Dang! You spit out tracks like nothing can hold you, haha. I like the humouristic touch.

  • I like this almost against my will.

  • this is crazy. i can’t imagine how you put something like this together. _

Riffler is certainly a lot of fun. I think I got a little carried away with this one. I just felt like doing something different. Thanks Mac!

I was thinking of HaHavishnu when I started this. Yeah, that disco bassline was completely out of place, and I'm keeping it!
No practicing required is my mission statement. I don't use any external keyboards, guitars, monitors, etc. Therefore, anybody, regardless of their musical training (or lack of), can do this. It just takes a little imagination and a lot of patience. Thanks for listening my friend!

Actually these were both works in progress. I just got back from a mini vacation, fully rested and energized. I just picked out a couple that were nearly done, and finished them. I wish I was that prolific! I think a little humour is always a good thing. I am very glad that you heard that in my tracks. Thank you!

I'm glad you fought the urge... and won!
    Thanks for listening!

Have you ever heard the expression - Put a monkey at a typewriter and he will eventually type the Bible.
Actually the Riffler app did all the heavy lifting.
I just generated a bunch of riffs and the corresponding MIDI parts and stitched them all together.
I couldn't go much past two minutes because I was developing a nervous twitch from repeated listening.
Any longer and I would have ended up in the looney bin.
Thanks for listening to my 'music' (and I use the term loosely).
    Have a great day!

  • This is awesome!

  • "No practicing required" says McD.
The speed of the music is truly enchanting.
    Great title for this song.
    Well done.

  • This is weird and wild in the best possible way. Thank you, @Paulieworld . I needed the accompanying jolt of energy.

    No practicing required

The iPad has made it possible for everyone, whether they are trained musicians or not, to make their own music. You just have to take a different approach. It helps to have a musical background, but it's not necessary. Not everyone will like it, but some will, and that makes it worthwhile. Although there are no requirements for rigorous daily practice, you still have to put in the time.

I remember the first and last times I rode the Tilt-A-Whirl. The first was at the state fair, and was totally exhilarating for an 8 year old boy. The last time was with my youngest son, He loved it. I thought I was going to throw up. This song reminded me of both!

    Thanks Rene!

The Riffler app has a preset called 'Bet you can't play this!'
That sounded like a challenge... and... well.
I also write some nice, pretty songs, too.
    Just not recently.
    Thanks for listening!

  • Exciting stuff.. had to look up Hahavishnu , just thought it was a typo… who knew… not me 🤔
I like your mission statement btw… very true with the technology available but it helps if you are as talented as your good self… 😊

Sorry for the shameless bump, but I’m in a mood for carnival rides.

Also, here is a great video from @MadeofWax.
