  • Strange, funky, experimental, really appealing to me. Now I have to see what C.ARP synth is. Sounds like a hidden gem that somehow I slept on.

  • I believe its based on the suzuki omnichord/omniharp. I think you can load your own samples into it but havent tried yet. Really hoping this one becomes Auv3.

    Cheers!

  • Im going to pretend "Bearhawk" was not a typo and that if there was indeed an app named bearhawk it would rule them all. Or at least hoping it was a freudian slip and my true inner spirit animal is the Bearhawk

    Cheers

Yes they fought side by side at the legendary battle of WildaBreast.

They say it was just 2 giant mounds surrounded by barron Oklahoma prairie.

I kept hearing Yoko in the vocals…. And I liked it. It’s like she finally found the right band and engineers.

Ah yes! the low voice in the begining? My whole life goes by without realizing yoko was the modulating voice for the speak and spell!!

on a more fascinating note. I added a lot of mixing tricks to my arsenal from the last book about Sir George Martin and the amazing creative things he did while at abbey road with the Beatles. For anyone new to mixing I highly highly recommend this gem that is hidding in plain sight. Its definetly not the typical rock band memior we are used to.

I believe it was on Sgt peppers. The story goes everyone was on lunch and Sir George went into the live room and moved the floor mic which was a good 7-10 feet from ringos kick drum and basically tried shoving it into the kick drum. That afternoon the famous ringo sound came alive while tracking. But the next morning Sir Martin came into his office at Abbey roads only to find a letter kindly asking for his resignation because he had failed to put in a mic move request to the department that handled the microphones. After that day abbey went from a symphonic tracking studio to a cutting edge modern day rock n roll facillity!

    Cheers!

  • Vocals are nicely put in the mix.
    Well done!!!

  • Cheers!! you guys are to kind. far far from a perfect mix. however one day when I have a couple days for "me" I plan on throwing all the tracks Ive made on the ipad through my console (SSL) and take couple days to give them proper mixes. They always say the carpenter has the least nicest home.

Super Music Maker! Wild, euphoric Daft Punk meets Big Beat - lovely sound! Made me almost spring for the very unlikely C.ARP - https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/c-arp/id1481916004. After all, the sainted Hainbach has a circuit bent Omnichord… Also: Bearhawk! :)

It’s absolutely fantastic. A little buggy at times but I love it a lot.

  • This is great stuff! Glad to see someone else using C.ARP. It’s a great app.

Wow this is quite the complement my friend... Thank you

Thank you... and yes it is actually very buggy. Ive been coming up in my head what I could do with it if I could only load my own drums and bass into this thing. I even tried using a monohead mic over my shoulder pointed st the snare drum right into the interface. Unfortunately as soon as you touch the rec button the app crashes. Hoping to see this as Auv3
