MIDI routing in Logic question (is 'internal MIDI-learn possible'?) [solved]

I'm quite new to Logic and can't seem to wrap my head around the following (I'm not even sure if it is possible at all):

I want to MIDI-learn an AU parameter (in the Helisert app in the picture) using a MIDI-effect loaded in a different track (the modulator in the picture). I'm at a loss how to achieve this kind of routing. Is there someone who might help?
