Getting the best out of Scaler in GarageBand requires a couple of extra steps that will make your life much easier.
So in this tutorial, I explain all this in some detail and also give you lots of tips and tricks.

    @NeuM I’ve always liked GB, it has a pleasant and intuitive workflow.
    It shines when it comes to the number instruments and sounds it has, loads of interesting ways to play those instruments, and incredible set of drums and drummers and a very clever and cool looper section.
    The only real problem for me is the lack of a mixer, but hey, it’s all free, what’s to,complain about really.
    I also like the fact that all the included loops can be easily changed to fit your key and bpm with zero stress.

    I'd also love to see them add a decent mixer with punch in effects and Master volume control that would make visual sense to those with experience with real mixing boards, but they sort of split the baby and arrived at what we have today.

    Also wouldn't mind if they came up with their own line of "Fabfilter killers" and built them in to GarageBand. They could definitely do that.
