Amazon Road
I started this track with Scaler and Continua, where i made a chord progression (the string sound).
Then i recorded it into BitWig and reversed/flipped the clip (progression), so i get buildups of the chords instead of release.
Then i chopped the clip for every chord, and putted them in reverse order, so i got the original progression again, and this time with reversed samples.
Then i used Valhalla Supermassive to delay/reverb one chord into the other.
For the bass sound i used the same progression with bass performance in Scaler with some inversions. The sound comes from the Tricent mkIII from Full bucket.
Finally i used the progression with a higher pitched sound with Scaler again with Thor from Reason.
The Drums comes from Kong from Reason.
The bird sound is a field recording from the BBC, where i placed every bird tweet on the backbeat with time stretching.
Finally i added 2 percussion samples.

great tune. great mix. very professionally sounding all around. well done.
my only suggestion would be not to bring the bird fx back into the mix. it was good in the into but took me out of the song when reintroduced. just my thought.
Thanks for the comment, Willg. You might be right about the birds, and maybe the percussion is a little bit too loud.
Hi ldentor,
The bird singing is the center of this composition, and the road in the amazon forest must sound like this.
Nice beat and vibe, quite relaxing.

Great track… can’t have too many birds for me! BBC is a great source of sounds and you used them to great effect…
@ReneAsologuitar and @GeoTony Thanks for the comments
I think i'm gonna invest some time in creating atmospheric sounds with granular synthesis.
Now that i hear the track again after several days, the fuzzy bass/lead sound reminds me of another track, and cherished by The Gaslamp Killer:
