MacBook audio to iPad?

Is it possible to route MacBook audio (from Logic) to an iPad?
I’m only discovering Studiomux but I’m quite clueless how to go about it and I’m wondering whether it’s even possible.
I got it working the other way around, but want to keep my iPad workflow central.

Yes StudioMux can route from the mac to the ipad. add studiomux as an effect on the mac on the track you want to sent to the ipad. on the ipad receive that audio in the studiomux app.

  • Yes it works tried it yesterday with Studiomux. Was messing about with IDAM previously. Studiomux works under its own server outside of IDAM. I still find it clunky using it can bit hit and miss and sluggish at times on my old iPad Pro 9.7. Where as IDAM just works shame Apple doesn’t do 2 way audio yet.

  • Would SonoBus be an option? I know it can be useful to hear tracks from somebody’s DAW from half way around the world, but haven’t tried it in house as I have an iConnectivity unit. I have one of their smaller units somewhere that is for midi but also has 2 channel, both directions audio routing.

The Studiomux latency is better but Sonobus works ok if you used a wired connection.
