4Pockets Progressions AUv3 Demo (GIVEAWAY!: 3 Copies of ANY 4Pockets Apps - See Pinned YT Comment)

Progressions is a very enjoyable and innovative midi chord generator for iOS (iPad / iPhone / M1 Mac) with the capacity to play block chords, arpeggiations or strumming patterns at varying levels of complexity. I particularly like the ability to generate a bass line and send it out to another synth, the open chords feature, aligning of top notes of chords and the voicing possibilities. I have 3 copies of ANY 4Pockets app to give away, 1 for YT, 1 for Insta, 1 for Twitter. Details can be found in the pinned YouTube comment, as well as links to my Twitter and Insta (Insta vid may take some time to post, Twitter post is already up! Winners will be picked at random after roughly 2 days. Good luck!

Thanks! This came together very quickly. I must say, Progressions is really capable of very musical progressions. Shoutouts too to @zvon for the vocal samples from his latest Memory Collection pack, @Spidericemidas for the lovely Lagrange pluck, and Sounds of Israel for the Lagrange bass patch. As well as the immortal @artkerns whose MidiGATEs often finds its way into my sessions and is truly an indispensable midi tool.

I think it depends on the person. First of all this has no detection mode etc, which is one of the main selling points of Scaler. Scaler has a lot of different arps and strums etc, but not seeing them visualised is a bit of a bummer for me. Scaler has built in sounds. Some are pretty decent but most AB Forum members will already have tons of synths etc. Scaler is powerful no doubt but the interface is not the most intuitive or enjoyable to use imo, apart from maybe the pads page. With Progressions you can just basically press generate and play around with the complexity settings and very quickly come up with something very musical. I'd say Progressions is more my cup of tea to be honest. I don't really imagine that Scaler is something I'll use a lot despite having spent a fair bit of time with it and having made some cool shit I definitely wouldn't have come up with otherwise. A lot of it is down to personal taste I'd say.
