    Thanks, Ed. She was a lovely lady. She had a wonderful life. We'll miss her, but she is with her husband and daughter now. Life goes on!

    Her husband was the man who introduced me to jazz at a very early age. He also taught me to talk like a jazz guy. I called him 'daddio', and he said I was a 'cool cat'. His youngest daughter Sally is an incredible musician, as well as professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at University of Chicago. This is a shameless plug for her current band, Chaometry.

    Wow thanks for your comment on my song! I've made lot of those type of tunes, will try to post a few more. Nope, I'm not on soundcloud or anything else, but am looking to join something so I don't keep posting big mp3 files on the forum - just haven't decided which one to join.
