Upright bass Sfz or exs
Anyone know of any good upright bass samples, been having a thought time finding anything that sounds good to me

Better than swam double bass?
I guess I’m looking for the clicking sound when bass is played with fingers. I’ve tried sampletank, and a couple of SoundFonts. I wish modo bass would just come to iOS
I think currently nothing is better than Swam or GeoPizzBass on iOS but @LinearLineman gives high praises of BeatHawk « Total Bass », better the Swam as regards jazz playing if I understand correctly. I don’t think you can have the “click” sound with the Swam, unless maybe if you overlay the conventional play mode with the “col legno” play mode !

Karoryfer has a strong reputation in the SFZ world, providing instruments on a regular basis.

@jmd8928, there’s a nice exs upright in Logic’s factory library, which I assume you already have if you’re doing exs. Easy enough to export, and way better than swam for pizz – imo…
While you’re there don’t miss the baby bass, which is quite a rarity and sounds fantastic.

The acoustic bass is 4 layered and has a nice rattle when played hard.
