not really these days. though it’s app by app, device by device. haven’t tried this one on Android, or ios for that matter (user reports seem mixed still), but in terms of the top Android music apps (including the G-Stompers, especially the formidable Producer) with a modern device like Huawei, latency isnt a notable issue.

FYI - there’s an iOS update due soon. We’ll see if that helps anything. As it stands now I don’t use it. It doesn’t have the polish and performance of a typical iOS app (Pure Acid for instance). It could be fun to use but currently it’s not. IMHO & YMMV

I tried the demo on two devices. Horrible latency. Agree on G-Stomper m the dev is a genius.

device is critical. i shopped (and shopped) for a tablet that would run the Producer. ended up finding the right spec on a Huawei unit. the Devs got a lengthy set of choices for audio set up and the Huawei os for android is up for the challenge. i think SunVox and FLSM are aboit the same. Cubasis not so much…

I use DRC to gauge latency. My devices are pretty vanilla but DRC runs fine. eSPi not so much.
