This has been my most listened to track on SoundCloud. I’m not sure why. The original version was synthed up. This, pared down to piano and bass and midi edited, is far better, IMO.

Are you layering pianos? It’s not a great tone, IMHO. It’s a studio artifact with phase canceling I think.
I usedFAC Maxima andTB reverb on this @McD . No layering. The tone sounds good to me.
