Turning off quantize in Thumbjam? Anyone remember how? [User Senility/Stupidity Solved]

Back to this small piece of genius for a playabout, but while I like the quantize start points etc, it seems to be quanting my notes when I'm just playing within a loop. Any obvious way to turn it off?

The only time TJ will quantize actual individual notes is if you have the ARP on, but that's pretty obvious when it is. Can you provide some more specific details?

Hello you, glad I'm not just simply forgetting something obvious. I was playing the lovely acoustic bass (deliberately) sloppily and TJ moved my notes around a little. Let me go back and have another fiddle, I'm sure it's on my end if there's no fixed quant (which I didn't remember but hey, memory....) Appreciate the nudge.

  • For clarity; it was all me not it. For posterity; if you haven't in a while whip it out and have a fiddle. Such a fine thing.

Does that mean, you couldn't help yourself and what you thought was sloppy, was actually rhythmic perfection? :)

    That's what she said.
