Can we list all granular synths on iOS?
I really like granular synth. I'm a little bit OCD so I want to buy them all, but I'm not sure I know them all.
I own:
Borderlands
Tardigrain
Spacecraft
Quanta
FRMS
IDensity
How many more I need to buy?
Is there a way to search with tags somewhere?

AppStore will give you a few more idea, search granular synth
There’s this site to search the App Store, usually pretty decent results.
https://fnd.io/#/
However searching something specific, especially with a category filter on in the App Store, should give you almost all of them. After I set filters the first one that showed up was one I’ve never seen before. See pics below for filters in App Store.
There’s also a few FX that will do the trick
MonoGranulator
Bleass Granulizer
GrainProc
Pics of using App Store filters.

This Mutable Instruments bundle includes a granular module 😎
Yup forgot that one, what a great free app that is, especially with the Mozaic script on patch storage that randomizes presets for each of the individual synth model included.
Oh and miRack of course!
Audible Instruments inside miRack is another port of Mutable Imstruments’ modules.
Curtis Heavy
Grain Science
Mitosynth (has granular onboard among other engines)
One more Grain Science.
I love granular synthesis too 😂
I keep 1010music Lemon Drop in and out of my cart - I need to buy it finally, but every time I try something happens to prevent it 🤔
NS1 can get some granular sounds.

Hi, the original SampleWiz is still one of my faves, wish it was kept up to date, as it’s v.unique & sounds great (I prefer it to the SampleWiz2 by Bleass)..

Neon Audio Editor has granular synthesis integrated, where you can playback a (sliced-up) sample/recording in granular mode (called, Particle in Neon)
Don't forget PaulXStretch is an FX based on on granular synthesis. The same with AudioStretch, but i'm not sure.
IPulsaret.
I don't have it but I think i remember from screenshots that tc-11 has a granular module
Worth to mention besides the lack of connectivity: Soup Granular
TC-11 has a Granular Oscillator but you can’t import your own samples.
Ah OK 👍
The very underrated soundfruuze has granular scrub, granular freeze and granular stream among its many processing options.
rrarrow also can do granular processing.
ElasticFX has a grain delay.
Other Desert Cities includes granular processing.
Oh, and there’s MonoGranulator.
Takete has an inbuilt granular synth too.

GrainProc

I guess another interesting question is whether any of these are made redundant by others having their features plus extras?
I move to have @Gavinski’s Audiobus GAS card removed.
I actually have bad gas at the moment. I’m trying to stop myself buying tc-data, as however cool the idea of it is, am I really gonna use it? Monogranulator would be a temporary quick fix but it seemed to generate little buzz here, not sure....😛
Audulus module: Icebox Audio Freezer
Yeah, I’d need to see a receipt before proceedings can be halted 😁
I have both, TC-11 is cool but suffers from setups hurdle. MonoGranulator is fine but doesn’t do anything the other candidates won’t. Otoh the colour scheme is downright conservative by Anthony’s standards.
Did email TC-11/data dev a few weeks ago but no reply, which seems to be a common theme from what I have seen in other posts here. I am enjoying TC-Performer though and did buy the IAP bundle for that. Unfortunately, and it may be because my 3rd gen iPad Pro is out of action and I’m stuck using my 2nd gen, which is far less powerful, I keep getting clicks when switching between the IAA and AUM.
