Thanks. I checked, and I think Addictive, microTERA, and AudioReverb are $4.99, but Cube is still listed at $7.99.

I just picked up Cube at the reduced price, I had dithered about it, but it is really amazing! Capable of so many great sounds. One of the things I dont think I had appreciated is that it doesnt just cross fade between each corner of the "cube" but it morphs between them. So set a different pitch one one corner and you can get pitch slides, set (and this is reaaly cool) different filter profiles in each corner, with up to six control points, and it can morph between these arbitrary filter shapes at will! So you can set up traditional resonant filter sweeps but so much more, like morphing between formant shapes for vocal sounds. One preset has a very narrow filter that sweeps, picking out each harmonic as it does so, producing a cascade like effect. All very cool, and unique as far as I know.
Audio reverb is excellent, if you get that and the new altispace your reverb needs would be 100% covered. Plenty of room in that for aufx space too come to think of it.
Yeah. Since I started this post about Virsyn synths I have been having a play with them all.
I have all the other "big" Ipad synths, but I actually think these are way better. Especially in the fact that they take up very little space on the Ipad. The sounds are quite amazing, especially the pitch and vocoder apps. I have to agree on Cube being way underrated though.
According to app shopper site ,cube synth is on sale since May 27 .I don't think it will go lower so I may grub it.
I love all the Virsyn synths. Cube synth is amazing powerful with up to 512 partials per source, 4 sources and with MicroTera the only iOS synth which has MSEG (multi stage envelope generator). Cube is also one of the most powerful addidive synths. I just wish the iOS version would have too additive resynthesis like the desktop version. Addictive Synth (a wavetable synth) can create super warm and lush pads, soundscapes and FX too. MicroTera is a great tool too. I'm not the best friend of wave shapers but this is good beacuse of the 4 MSEG and the fastest LFO's (if you need them).
and the Virsyn synth have the very best reverb (and noise generators) from all iOS synths. I think that also there desktop synth are underrated. I'm outing me as a Virsyn fanboy
Add me to the fanboy list, the VirSyn stuff is killer across the board, iOS and Vst. $ 7.99 is amazing for Cube. (I think it went live at $15-20, worth all of that)
Just grabbed Cube, great sound. like all VirSyn synths. I notice that Cube and MicroTERA don't respond to foot pedal sustain. Addictive synth does respond tho.I hope this will be fixed . I find it hard to play without it. I know of the hold button, is there some setting ?
I'm also a VirSyn slut. Everything VirSyn = insta buy. Such great sounding, and versatile synths across the board IMO, and only usually around $5-12 which is pretty insane (not complaining tho;).
Virsyn slut... sounds almost Chaucerian.
