First time poster and long time lurker. I’d appreciate as much feedback as I can get. Y’all are gr8!

Sorry for the repost. I wasn’t sure how to post my link

I’d appreciate all the feedback I could get. I’m not really sure what I’m doing as far as making a complete and releasable song. This is all just a great hobby to me. Also I get a lot of inspiration from all of you even though I don’t ever post anything or comment on much of anything. Thank you all and hope everyone is well!

  • I enjoyed your track. It certainly sounds complete to me.
I’m not sure I’m the right person to give anybody advice. The only thing I would recommend is to keep posting. @LinearLineman had a post about Wabi-Sabi and I think it’s the right philosophy for a music making hobby. Don’t worry about chasing perfection.
Hope to see more posts from you!

  • @baconink you would post future tracks under “Creations”. No bad and a good way to introduce yourself to everyone. Welcome aboard.

  • Hey welcome aboard. This seems a nice pop tune ready for a singer and a drummer too maybe.

The Shadows meet Nirvana? Nice song! Like @Blipsford_Baubie, I too kept expecting some huge boom bap drums and a vocal to come roaring in. :)

Omg! 😭. Not to be a downer but nirvana is my favorite band. I don’t listen to them too often but I love them, mostly Kurt lol. Thank you so much for the comment and your time!

  • Welcome. I like the name too, cheers.

  • This was great. As others have mentioned, I also felt like a big drum track, Foo Fighters style, would really lift it up another level, especially at 2:07 onwards. Definitely a great tune also deserving of some vocals, but I know good vocals are hard to find unless you can sing or know someone else who can! The guitars sound really nice and clean. Nice work! 👍

Thank you! I love the foo fighters. I had more drums throughout but a friend suggested taking them out and I think it was for the better. I may have a go at making the end drums bigger as it’s really just a repeated thing they the whole track started as really, well after I had the first guitar part. This was all just a heavily repeated song like most things I make. I get a decent amount of ideas but am terrible at making changes or chorus’ and what have you. A lot of my stuff is super melodic.

Thank you for the guitar comment. I’ve been playing since I was a kid but always off and on. Was all done on a Taylor acoustic. Used nembrini overdrive for the drive. I think centaur as well.
