New basic iPad leaked… swings and roundabouts, swings and roundabouts.
So some renders of the new cheap iPad have leaked and well, the good news is… it has a usb c port. The bad news… no more headphones. That’s a bit of shame for me as I just like built in headphone sockets. Still, my 2020 iPad is still going strong for me, so I can prolong the inevitable…

These guys have done serious research!
Not looking forward to the new unit if true. I'll probably just buy the last model with headphones as I find them indispensable for sampling, monitoring, and mixing.
I find Apple's decision to remove the 1/8" jack a baffling and frustrating exercise in refusing to listen to users.
Apple makes more money JUST from selling AirPods than all of Sonys products and income streams combined. I think it makes perfect sense for them to do this, they want to make more money.
Approx 15 years ago I read that Sony were making more money selling insurance than electronic products
(Apparently Sony selling insurance is a big thing in the home market, not available outside Japan)
