Midi player/slicer on iOS like reMidi?

Being able to play back slices of midi (like chopping them up to pads) and changing transpose/speed/offset/slice/selection/loop/frezze of the midi-file notes or chords.

Also having library of thousands of open domain midi is also cool.

reMidi is a really unique midi looper and a kind of midi clip launcher. Takeamidi is really no comparison and it has a big flaw, I think, because when you select some midi you can't hear what you've selected unless you drag it into a midi player like Helium first. It really cuts down any usefulness. Plus it's just one selected clip at a time.

Helium itself has a function that's a bit like reMidi with triggering looping sections. Still reMidi makes it easier.

midifruuze by the same developer looked to me like it had more of those kinds of features. I bought takeamidi today, but haven't tried it yet, so maybe I'm overlooking something.

Points taken - I was thinking of more the midi chopping/slicing aspect where it's easy to drag and drop into another app. reMidi has that MPC style button playback feature too, which I've never used personally because I don't do much on PC, but it could be cool to have something like that on an iPad.

Imaginando LK does that and much more.

No, you’re right. If you wanna checkout takeamidi, I linked to the beta in another thread, but midifreeze is more suited. Takeamidi can also accomplish this, albeit differently, maybe even easier for some minimalists Love his apps, either way. remidi3 looks like a dope app, anyone use it?

    Remidi is unique.

I've used it to generate midi bass lines for use in Drambo... I noticed a certain artist had some sick middle solo section bass parts, so I got ahold of the midi files and in a few hours had 350+ midi bass loops to use as my leisure. It's super easy to output the midi files to individual files in Reaper... literally just drag and drop and Reaper automatically saves them all. You could do it with any part really, drums, keys. The only limitation is that it will only recognize midi type 0 files. If you try to load a type 1 file, it will just throw all the parts into one track, so if you have type 1 files then you need to take an extra step to save the parts you want as a separate midi file.
