Komplete kontrol a49 powered by ipad?

Hi,

I saw a video with a komplete kontrol connected to an ipad, and apparently the keyboard was powered by the ipad. Keys, bend, and octave button seemed to be working.
Do you know if the control knobs are available in this configuration too?
