    Olivia as in “Acoustics in the River” Olivia?
    I remember her poem being the basis of one of your musical compositions. I confess I went back and looked at the previous post to refresh my memory of some of the other details. She sounds like a wonderful child.
    I really enjoyed the fast triplet sound on the piano as the underlying rhythm of this. It gives the entire piece a great sense of movement.

    The bass part was, as I recall, iFretless 'Slap Bass' preset. I punched it in after a few martinis and used the piano roll editor to add some dynamics. The rest of it was Piano Motifs and Fugue Machine. I had all sorts of technical difficulties with this one. The final mix was only a fraction of what I had in mind, but my iPad was fighting me all the way. I finally gave up and went with this. Thanks for putting up with my nonsense. I drinks a bit, you know.

    Yes, this about my lovely little niece. A lady that I work with said she writes like Bob Dylan. The obscure melody is from another poem she wrote for me. The triplet background is her running around on the ranch with her horses. The melody line is her poetry. Thanks for listening, I can't wait to tell her!

    I own all those apps. I have no excuse. Perhaps I’m just not cut out for this whole IOS music thing. I will start my effort to compete by drinking a bit.

    My uncle died at 32 from drink.
    My brother died at 36 from drink.
    my sister went to AA meeting for 49 years and died with cancer.

    But I’d do anything to make something this good from m these $19 apps just to show children that real art can be made on an ipad. But the iPhone will drive you insane at 71.
