Animoog Midi Out - can you assign poly pressure to another synth app or a hardware synth?
All of a sudden, I have been trying to use Animoog as a midi controller for my other synth apps and my M-audio Venom as well. Is there a way to assign filter cutoff or resonance, etc to poly pressure in the Animoog Midi Out. Nothing in the manual about midi-out. I see there is midi-learn, but I don't see it for polypressure. Thanks!

I think you need to buy MIDI Expansion Pack but I could be wrong...
Yep- The MIDI out is an IAP.
I don't have the IAP, so can't say for sure, but most likely you'll be setting the other synths to map whatever Animoog is sending to whatever parameter you are wanting to control on the Venom or whatever.
Genome records the animoog poly stuff.
SynthX can also output poly AT and polyphonic pitchbend.

This. It's the same way you set animoog itself to respond to aftertouch by assigning filter or wave travel or whatever to it. Not many synths respond to polyphonic after touch. You can set animoog to monophonic aftertouch, I believe, which most synths respond to.
Thanks, can you let me know how to set aftertouch to monophonic. Didn't see a setting for that. Hiphopblues
Ok, random experimental discovery. Hit Midi learn in Imini, and choose a paramter, such as cutoff by touching it. Go to Animoog, and run finger on the touch key. This assigns the cutoff to the touch key. Next try to figure it out for my M-audio Venom.
