Universal Control between Ableton and Loopy Pro
Just got a sweet new iPad Pro and started digging into universal control. I like both Ableton and Loopy Pro for different things and think it could be fun to use them in tandem. So far, I’ve just been able to drag audio files from Ableton to Loopy which is nice.
But, I’m wondering if the following workflows are possible too (if so, I haven’t figured out the mechanics of doing so):
Dragging audio from Loopy into Ableton
Dragging MIDI from Ableton into Loopy (any Auv3, or even a different app like LK)
Dragging MIDI from Loopy or another app into Ableton
Whether it’s dragging or using the clipboard, I really like not having to export files and then import them using airdrop. It will allow me to use my Apollo and all the UAD plugins with my hardware in a really integrated Loopy workflow that I can take on the go.
Anyone have tips about the above, or similar?
