OK… only one person to credit (or the other thing which goes without saying).
Is that an accordion? Or some sort of reed organ?
Is there a felt piano in there? I felt one… ya feel me?
“Be still”? OK. For how long?
(I’m not waiting for my answer but I‘lol start again when I get one.)
If you tell me this was auto-generated I’m quitting the Union… we are totally fucked… damn programmers.
It sounds like you threw a button on the accordion to get a short chorus sound… is there an accordionist in the house to describe that button and when to use it?
Man did SoundCloud re-vamp their user interface? I can’t seem to leave a comment. I have a good one:
“Music good. Please visit my website (Young Male Bodybuilder.ru) for pictures of me as God Made Me.”
It’s a site a funded for a little extra cash.
OK, tracks over. Nice one.
Have you ever listened to a song and there was one note or chord that just made the whole thing go to another level for you? 1:15. Damn.
Peaceful and tranquil but moving.
Love this.
So freaking peaceful man. Sounds like a refreshing work break at a Japanese rice field, in the style of the cinematography of that last samurai. That’s what came to my mind when I heard this lol.
It's supposed to be an oboe, but now that you mention it, it does sound like my old Italo American accordian. I still have it!
I'll let you know.
I'll ask my childhood hero, Dick Contino. Believe it or not, I was actually 2nd in state at the Illinois State Fair in 1963. Accordians were big back then. Mom said I should have been 1st, but there were 'politics'' involved. It helps to be Italian. I'm Icelandic and mostly known for Lutefisk.
I'll pass, but my wife will probably check it out.
Thanks dude!
I had to back and listen to that. It was a happy accident, like most of my stuff. Thank you so much!
I love your visual impression. Thank you my friend!
Lovely quiet track, very different from your other stuff which is very different from your other stuff etc etc
Oboe… Nah!
Very different from your usual productions. Taichi or meditation session beforehand?
Thank you so much Tony! I try to do something different every time. Sometimes it works, and other times not so much. I appreciate that you notice!
Like I was telling @GeoTony , I like to try different things. There are a few glaring, obvious errors in this one, I'll come back and fix them someday. I used an app called Notion and their sound library is not the greatest I've ever heard.
I just downloaded StaffPad and spent most of the day trying to locate an Apple Pencil. I finally found one after about 30 miles of driving around aimlessly. I still can't believe I spent $100 for a frigging pencil. I'm looking forward the StafPad experience.
I actually practiced Tai Chi when I was young and flexible. Nowadays my meditation starts with a nice Martini.
Thanks for listening!
I feel you. When I bought mine I also had the same reaction. $100 is quite a lot. But eventually I don't regret my purchase. The Apple pencil is a nice tool that pairs really well with an iPad. There are plenty of graphic and design apps that work wonderfully with the pencil. It responds to pressure and speed, and there is also the palm rejection system that makes it really comfortable to draw on an iPad.
I also enjoy more and more MIDI editing with a pencil
Hi Paulieworld,
This oboe sound seems to have a hypnotizing effect, and I still still.
Captivating and serene, the tranquil feeling is lovely.
I love the peace I gain in this recording.
Thanks for another gem!!!
Rene
I am looking forward to using standard notation again. I hear there is a learning curve to handwriting recognition. I took a vacation day today so I'll see how it goes. I've been watching some tutorials.
Thank you Rene. Sometimes it's nice to tone it down a bit. Thanks for listening.
Definitely watch some tutorials and there is tutorial inside the app to help to get started. Don't skip it. Handwriting recognition is not perfect but once you get use to it, you'll find your way. Don't hesitate to ask questions. I bought the app one week ago, so I am not that far ahead. @McD has had his hands on it for several months, he must have a lot of tips for us.
