Riffler (beta) Sound Check Groove
I took a little Korg Keyboard with me to the hospital and gave Riffler (beta) another sound check.
It’s driving that Guitar Riff. So, many to choose from it’s amazing. So much variety in Riffs, Tones, and Genres… I just Rolled the dice and stopped on these settings and jammed over the top:

Your got some really good sounds out of that little Korg keyboard.
I really do love being able to use Riffler as a back up band. I imagine once the developer adds the song mode we’ll be hearing even more sophisticated arrangements from people like you with the musical knowledge to make something (as Doug from the Sound Test Room would say) EPIC!
Hi McD,
Great musical jam.
Keys are sounding really good, with great melody flair.
From the many choices, this is a very good jam!!!
Take care and be well!!!

I think a lot of Musicians claimed to be “?”
“96 Tears” was their one big hit and the organ was a Farfisa.
My B-3X App seems offended. It’s the true King of electric organs.
It’s going to produce results for anyone. The patterns produced and the sounds offered seem great everytime. But by pushing the dice something just seems like the one to use or add to.
It’s very clever programming
With a winning user interface.
I was thinking Booker T and the MGs. Nice groove. I would have liked a B part in there somewhere. Those dice are really fun!
Awesome stuff! I’ve really been loving the Riffler beta myself, though mostly using it to generate samples to chop up. Where’s the organ coming from?
All my music is made from B parts. So, I guess you want some of those A parts. That will require extra effort so don’t hold your breath for any level of competence. I like the fact that the B looks like BooB’s. A’s look like a “person” in a skirt bent over… so I’m a B Man.
Thanks for asking. For gender equality the B’s could be an Ariel view of testicles and the A a man wearing a kilt.
To each their own kink.
Feel free to ignore me. I deserve it. Then I can talk about you without reservation. I get DM’ed when I go too far so I know how ignore works.
I also love boobs, or at least what I can remember.
I can't unsee that.
It's more fun not to ignore you.
Pretty cool. I have been meaning to get this app.
Now that’s feedback I can hang on the wall or write on a wall if I have a Marker while using a public facility.
I had a college buddy that papered his bathroom with butcher’s block paper and we filled the walls over a year and he’d re-surface to room and save the paper. He’s the director of music education for a whole county in SoCal and still loves “Miles Davis” as his top inspiration. Not bad for a Bassoon/Tuba player. I never heard him improvise on either but he was known in the marching band for singing trumpet lines through his tuba in a really high falsetto… like Cat Anderson ending a Basie tune. Those in the know would break out laughing because he matched the other trumpet player that would take his ending note up an octave. Good times. After 11 seasons of marching band I swore never to make kids have to do that and as a result only taught elementary school and stopped doing that after 2 years. Bad times.
Not to worry, I won't reveal your secret identity.
True, I apologize. The Farfisa had that tinny sound. But now it's kind of interesting.
🤣
Wait 50+ years and any piece of kit is “priceless”. There were worse “organs” than the Farfisa and my dad
Bought them all because they and he were cheap. Of course, he didn’t have much money left after making 3 kids and deciding to keep them. Actually, my mom kept us and when my dad was posted to Japan by the Marines she told him:
You go and we’ll be here when you can get back. He came home with a Wurlitzer E-Piano, Sony Tape Decks and a VW.
Funny how his income (and lack of anyone to sign off on purchasing) changed his buying habits. Of course, my mom had to get a job.
Later, 20 years later. He gave me the Wurlitzer. 10 years later he asked for it back. 5 years later he gave it to me again. And 20 years after that I sold it along with some 1930’s Deagen Vibes. We all make mistakes in life. He gave me the Sony Tape Deck and I don’t even recall how I sold that.
Need help, On riffler beta, in standalone I just created a dope riff. I’ve saved riffs but not sure it’s working. Can’t load them. Can’t export audio or midi. Has anyone been able to save a riff in standalone then open it?
Maybe Message the dev via TestFlight. Might be a bug needing some effort.
“SAVE” icon on lower right seems to create a new LIBRARY.Riffler file without the ability to name it. Same everything and “LOAD” doesn’t seem to reload saved content.
I think that’s a feature in progress.
Right on. I thought that might be the case but was hoping I was missing something. Thanks @McD
If you tap on the file name after pressing save you can rename it. But so far no luck loading it back up. I’ll mention it to them.
