Well.. I hope an amazing sound demo pops-up that will prove us wrong, but for 10 bucks you can get yourself Zeeon or Sunrizer (just to name 2 synth monolits). As much as I love and been impressed by their amazing B2 Echorec release, I don’t understand this..(yet)
Very deep Bauhaus cut for the win!
Seems like a pretty low key release all told, usually this stuff is all over YouTube on release date, with the usual suspects giving away codes etc...
Agreed. For example, I still love to this day the 76 Synthesizer.

'it's not the size that's the prize, it's the motion in the ocean' etc lol
I begged them to update this but alas…. 😭
😂
Yeah, looking at UI it looks plain and uneventful but maybe the engine sounds awesome! I know this developer makes good stuff.
Hopefully one of our awesome reviewers get a code or someone takes a chance and buys it and provides a demo 🤞
Have asked for a code! I love B2 but have had so much going on recently I haven't had a chance to put the video out, even though all the sound experimentation is complete. Has anyone mentioned yet that the B2 Echorec can self oscillate? That gives me hope that this app will also do a lot more than the app store listing may hint at.
I wouldn’t bet on this being more than a simple old-school (I’m thinking my old Roland SH-1) synth.
I like simple, old-school.
Can't believe we haven't had any "Thou shalt not/always krill" posts. @Gavinski feel free to use either for your video walkthrough title.
Doug did a video. Has kind of a fat sound
Sounds good
Not 9.99 good imho...
I agree. Quite anonymous.
Doug's demo shows it has a really nice sound. It looks like a nice easy one to learn on, but you could also learn on a similar simple architecture for FREE with Primer. I could pull a lot out of it, but nothing that I haven't already done with other synths. I could be wrong but seems like you can't actually name your own patches?? All iOS stuff to me is really cheap to buy, but compared to some other good synths on the app store, this one doesn't seem to be competitive in price for its basic features, so, many people may be put off by that. And coming in this late with minimal features when most of us already have a ton of synths, I can't see it being a "must have". Maybe one for collectors and completionists?
Not my $9.99 😂
You’re all Krell-ing me
I had $15 in credits and I’m pretty glad I went with Nambu instead. I don’t think Krill sounds bad but I just have so many other VA synths that can get these sounds
RANDOMIZER!
Krilling joke
Sweet! He's starting to understand the ios audience!
I just randomized about 15 patches. 11 were keepers. Sounded nice through VariSpeed.
I just randomised a good 30 or so... The vast majority were crap to be honest but in most cases just a few quick tweaks could make them pretty decent.
