Outta Spacecraft
I used @deltaVaudio Spacecraft in this. Mark Watt, the dev, had a pretty serious case of Covid last year. I hope he’s recovered.
Ravenscroft 275, BeatHawk Choirs, Spacecraft, iFretless Bass.

I genuinely love this.
d’n’b at the very start, after I have many mixed feelings, especially at the end, but todays listening show me: the more I listen the more I like.
this is a experimental record on top high level, could be used in movie but also works great in my personal movie : real life.
👍❤️👌
This is great Mike. The first few seconds didn't really work for me, but everything from there on was great. Loved the drums and the use of the choir as well as your - always - sublime improv piano. Drums from Jazz Drummer?
I was like @LinearLineman using Spacecraft? And you pull it off. I agree it could be used in a movie. maybe a Pixar movie, like Monsters Inc 2?
Its funny that words are not able to show what we feel, also often we are not true to ourself …. In words.
Especially when we force ourself to „right morallity”.
I like how bass is talking with melody in this recording.
Thanks for listening @Proppa. Glad you liked it.
@Gavinski drums from SoftDrummer. Thanks for the affirmation. Much appreciated!
Good to hear from you @Edward_Alexander, yeah, SpaceCraft is a little beyond me but i eked something out. What’s with you? Still off the cigs, I hope. Is it a year?
Thank you @szczyp, where words stop music begins. But you know that.
Very nice! I wasn’t sure what to expect from the premise, but still very much a piece of your work.
I absolutely need to play this for my brother. When he was studying for his degree in music composition he made a piece to accompany a Calvin and Hobbes “Spaceman Spiff” comic (He always wished for an animated cartoon show but the creator Bill Watterson was very particular about not licensing the characters.) I think this piece would be a perfect fit for that concept too. Jazzy, playful and otherworldly. Really enjoyed listening!
I love using Spacecraft and I love playing Ravenscroft. So, the odds were pretty good I was going to like this. My experiments with Spacecraft have led me into more drone type experiments. This was a nice take into some different space. Thank you.
For the most part it was just the band and me. The piano player warmed up a bit at first and then started killing it, the drummer, the bass… all is in order… and then those voices came. Who else is here? Someone else was here all along… ohhh shit!!!
It was a year back in May. Been busy with work and life.
Still making plenty of music just about every night. Just haven’t had much time for sharing lately. I’ve been finding more joy in the journey, rather than the destination if you will. The destination being taking a piece that I feel finished with (80%?) uploading it, typing up a description, maybe post a few details about the instruments used, and what inspired the piece to begin with, and sharing it here, there, and a couple other places, all in hopes that someone out there will give it a listen, and in turn, provide some honest feedback.
Here lately, after working a 13 hour double shift, I usually fall asleep somewhere in the creation process around the 70% area, where I’m happy, jamming out with some of my favorite instruments. I’ve probably got roughly 50 pieces backlogged right now, of stuff that I haven’t uploaded or shared.
Tonight, I’ve already spent half of my music making time typing this post, and I’m already getting sleepy.. oh well, tomorrows another day!
Fun listen and damn your piano skills are next level! Nicely done:)
I have Spacecraft but couldn't think of a good use for it. I will need to revisit after hearing this. Nice!
Thank you for commenting @onkey @Pxlhg and @Paulieworld. Like most things, a little bit of SpaceCraft goes a long way.
Wow, what an interesting timing, and the piano is lovely.
As always, your creation is very inviting, lovely musicalscape.
Love this recording.
Rene
Lol, @ReneAsologuitar , @McD would just say the Drummer is not in time with the rest of it.
