Music folders
Hi All
I'm using Traktor 2, and I'm running my music from an external hard drive.
Example:- I have a folder for my 80s music, which each track (mp3) is in. Within the folder the tracks list in alphabetical order. If I want to add a track into the 80s folder, it will be added into it's alpha position, which means it moves all the tracks above and below one space from where the new track has been inserted. So then when I go to play the tracks that were loaded before adding the new track, traktor can't find them, and tells me that the track has been removed or is corrupt.
How do I get round this please?

sometimes I use tools for sequencing rename, for example to add into al needed files nnn at the begining of the name, like
001 file1 blabla.wav
002 file5 blabla.wav
003 file2 blabla.wav
in this way you can fix the position in the list even if real name is not in the alphabetical order, on mac there is rename app for free, on windows I forgot name but you can easly find it: auto bath rename files
or just rename files in google
