One Of These Days
I came up with this a few years ago when I was just getting started in iPad music. It's a bit melodramatic, sappy, and about a minute too long, but I liked it. I recently rediscovered it and remixed it with MagicDeathEye Stereo. I used iSymphonic and several vocal samples from Blocs Wave.

Maybe I should have named this 'Teenage Zombie Sex Toy'.
But Paul, that wouldn’t work with the vocal samples…😄
I wish I could say the music I was making when I was just getting into iPad music was somewhere close to as good as this. The sounds and arrangement are really well done.
I dipped a foot in the iPad pool with SampleTank, iGrand and this cool virtual wiring app called the Audiobus. Good times. 256mb of RAM I think.
Then Amolitube which was like a Vegas slot for spending mo’ money, honey. $5 was a huge decision.
Sounds great Paul. What’s the deal with Blocs wav anyway, are they all like royalty free audio tracks? No copyright issues using vocal tracks like this in a piece?
Superb production!
I love the vocals on this rec cording.
Well done.
Rene
Everything is royalty free as long as you use them within the context of a song. I guess they don't want anyone reselling their product. It's a good option for me since I don't use any external hardware i.e. keyboards, guitars, mics. etc. If anyone ever wanted to use one of my tracks for money, I would definitely come back and redo it with real musicians. I am not holding my breath for that, so these work okay for now. Thanks for listening!
Thank you Rene! Those 'vocals' are samples from one of the Blocs Waves packages. Every now and then, they have some really good ones and I use them when I can. My singing voice is not very good! Thanks for listening.
Just kidding, of course. I think a provocative title gets more clicks. I once posted something called 'Have You Heard The News'. That generated hundreds of views by people who wanted to hear about 'The News'. It did not generate the same number of listens, however. Since then I have tried to keep my song titles simple. I hope you enjoying your long weekend. I am!
I am looking forward to listening to your collaboration with @JanKun. I have a few things to take care of, then I will be heading out to my patio for a day of music.
It is on @Paulieworld

The vocals really grew on me in this one. Reminded be of a John Martyn track but can’t think which one.
I think there is some serious science to be done on view vs listen ratios 😊
John Martyn!!! That's quite a compliment. Thank you very much.
Could the song be 'She's a Lover'?
I'm not too concerned with views or listens. I understand that the type of music I make will never be popular with most people. In fact, I have been quite successful at writing music that most people don't like. However, the people on this forum are a different breed. That's why I like posting here.
I was actually thinking of doing a post called 'Teenage Zombie Sex Toy', just to see how many clicks it got. So, if you ever see that in a post title... that will be me. Play along and click it a hundred times!
