All Out Of Love, Air Supply 1980
"All Out of Love" is a song by British/Australian soft rock duo Air Supply, released as a single in 1980 from their fifth studio album Lost in Love. The song was written by Graham Russell and Clive Davis.
Dedicated to all the lovers and dreamers of our beautiful world.
Peace and love fill all your hearts, and spread the joy with all peoples!!!
This song is also dedicated to my lovely wife, Mimi. For her patience and loving understanding of all my faults and inability to communicate well. My heart and soul will always belong to you!!

Ok. I’m going to lose all of my hardcore metal fan street cred but I loved this song back in the day ( and other Air Supply hits too) and you’ve done an excellent job covering it.
Voice production sounds unreal! In good way man. Are you singing live and adding effects or are your superimposing produced vocals on the video?

Hi MadeofWax,
I am so glad to hear your comments.
Any first, I thought my cover of this song might be a tad slower than normal, and wondered if this version will work.
I am so thankful for your wonderful feedback.

Hi magnusovi,
You are so amazing, and your comments are so humbling.
I am recording live, and I had a few tries before I got to this acceptable version, and very thankful to get here as I was getting frustrated.
My effects are from my Yamaha Mixer, Room Reverb #6, and other additions to the live recording.
You are so much appreciated.
Respectfully,
Rene
Love your heartfelt rendition of this classic:)
Some great Australian 70/80's acts never quite got the international recognition they deserved. Cold Chisel, Mondo Rock, Australian Crawl to name a few.
Yes, sounds like there’s more reverb on this. I, myself, prefer a drier sound, but I realize I’m in the minority. I prefer the immediacy of a dry recording. Would love to hear you do a track of just guitar, too.
Good work, as always.
Agree with Lineman that I prefer a drier reverb, but what a great performance, both technically and in emotional expression. And all of your stuff, Rene, reminds me of the good old days before social media and smartphones.

Lot of great music coming out of the 70/80's era, and you are right, international recognition was not there for much a plenty of great artists.
I will have to check out some of your list above.
Thank you so much, onkey!!!

Hi LinearLineman,
On purpose, I increased my room reverb a bit on this song, very bare and very vulnerable song to sing.
I was trying to hide all my flaws, which are plentiful on this song, quite challenging to cover.
I will try to get some "just guitar" music.
I do have a few of my very early recordings, in my channel.
Thank you, as always, Mike!!!

Hi Gavinski,
Love your comments!
I am truly thankful for the superb comments!
I will try to get me reverb setting down a bit, as they are now very overpowering.
When I started this new set-up, which is about 6. months ago, a friend, audio engineer, from LA helped me get to a recording setting which is still wet, but you cannot hear the reverb, which I liked a lot.
For this song, I had to hide my flaws, as I said to LinearLineman, as this song song quite a challenge to cover acoustically and solo vocals.
Thank you so much!!!
Rene
I know I have said this before, but... I like your arrangements much more than the originals.
Hi Paul,
This is a super huge compliment.
And I am so, so happy and grateful for your wonderful comments!!!
I do not what to say,,, just a great big - Thank You!!!
Respectfully,
Rene
